This course will train students to have the knowledge and skills required to troubleshoot, configure, and manage common network wireless and wired devices, establish basic network design and connectivity, understand and maintain network documentation, identify network limitations and weaknesses, and implement network security, standards, and protocols. The student will have a basic understanding of emerging technologies including unified communications, mobile, cloud, and virtualization technologies. Topics include network hardware, connections, software, the OSI Reference model, and different protocols used in local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).

This course will train you to have the knowledge and skills to prepare and perform on on-site assessment of a networked environment. This class assumes a prior knowledge of Network+ and Security+ concepts, building upon that foundation to explore and exploit the networked environment and the host based security on those devices. This class will combine lecture and labs, providing you hands-on exposure to the various tools you will utilize as a penetration tester, vulnerability assessor, or cyber analyst. By the end of this course, you will be well-prepared to sit for the 4-hour, 125 question Certified Ethical Hacker v8 or Certified Network Defense Architect exams from EC-Council.
